Make the plan · live the story

More together.أحلى سوا

sawa turns “yalla, we should totally do this” into a plan that actually happens: voted, booked, split, and settled without a single awkward text.

Launching soon on iOS & Android · عربي and English

Sound familiar?

Group chats are where plans happen die.

The yalla loop

97 messages. Zero decisions.

Everyone says yalla. Nobody picks a day. The plan quietly dies somewhere around message 60, next to the meme replies.

The quiet ones

The best ideas never get typed.

Suggesting a plan to 14 people feels like giving a speech. So the quiet friend with the great spot says nothing. Again.

The money text

Nobody wants to ask who paid.

Chasing your friends after the BBQ is more awkward than the BBQ was fun. So someone eats the cost and keeps score silently.

sawa takes the awkward out of together · سوا يعني مع بعض. Tap a vote instead of typing a speech. RSVP without the pressure. And let the app keep track of paid and pending, so no one has to be the friend who asks.

How it works

From “yalla” to actually there, in four taps.

01

Start the plan ابدأ الخطة

An idea, a few date options, a place. Thirty seconds and it exists outside the group chat.

02

Share one link شارك الرابط

Friends without the app open it in the browser, RSVP, and chip in as guests. No downloads, no excuses.

03

Vote, don’t debate صوّت وخلاص

A tap beats a paragraph. The shy vote counts exactly the same as the loud one, and that’s the point.

04

Split, settle, show up اقسم وحاسب

Collect for the plan, split the bill, watch paid and pending sort itself out. Reminders come from sawa, not from you.

The chat

A group chat that actually gets you out the door.

Same jokes, same karak energy, but the plan never drowns. Messages tag the plan they’re about, photos land from the camera, and the sticker pack says يلا so you don’t have to type it.

Stickers that speak the group’s language

يلا، تم، وينك؟ The app ships its own pack, drawn for exactly these conversations.

Photos, replies, reactions

Snap it straight from the camera or the library. React instead of typing “hahaha” for the ninth time.

Messages that know their plan

Talk about a plan and the message wears its tag. Tap it and you’re on the plan, not scrolling for it.

Communities

Not just your friends.
Your whole scene.

Channels for the crews you love: your padel community filling Thursday’s courts, your run club calling Friday’s route. Organizers post, everyone follows, and nobody sees the member list but them.

  • Follow your scenePadel, running, gaming, the cousins: every crew gets a channel.
  • Events made easyOrganizers post the next match as a real plan. One tap says you’re in.
  • Zero group-chat chaosAnnouncements-only by default. React all you want; the feed stays clean.
  • Join by requestDiscover public communities in the app and ask to join. Organizers approve.

What’s inside

Small app. Big weekends.

Polls that decide

Dates, places, plans: put it to a vote and let the taps settle it. Decisions, not vibes.

One-tap RSVP

Going, maybe, can’t. One tap, zero pressure, and everyone sees the headcount update live.

Collect & split

Collect for the trip or split the bill in QAR. Paid and pending at a glance, with no spreadsheets and no chasing.

Chat built for plans

Replies, reactions, photos straight from the camera. Every message can point at the plan it’s about.

Communities

Follow your padel crew, your run club, your people. Announcements only: all signal, zero noise.

Plans inside communities

Organizers post the next match or meetup as a real plan. One tap says you’re in, and everyone sees who’s going.

Stickers with يلا energy

A built-in pack made for the group chat. Say يلا، تم، مبروك in one tap.

Gentle reminders

sawa does the nudging so you never have to send that text. Friendships stay clean.

عربي and English

Flip the whole app to proper right-to-left Arabic, or mix both languages exactly like your chat does.

Good questions

Everything people ask before the first plan.

Is sawa free?

Downloading sawa and making plans is free. When a plan collects money, a small card-processing fee is shown upfront before anyone pays. No surprises, ever.

Do my friends need the app?

No. Every plan has a link that opens in any browser, so friends can RSVP and even chip in as guests without installing anything.

What’s a community?

A channel for your crew: a padel community filling Thursday’s courts, a run club posting Friday’s route. Organizers post, everyone follows, and who else follows stays private.

Is the money side safe?

Payments go through a licensed payment gateway, and organizers cash out to their own bank account after a quick ID check. Every riyal of a collection is visible to the group: paid and pending, in the open.

Does it really work in Arabic?

Fully. The whole app flips right-to-left, the copy is written in natural Gulf Arabic rather than textbook translation, and you can mix languages exactly like your group chat does.

When can I get it?

Very soon on the App Store and Google Play. Join the waitlist and you’ll get the first invite the moment it’s live. One email, nothing else.
